Challenge
After more than a decade of powering NHEC’s Smart Grid, a microwave communications network built in 2013 needed a major technology refresh. The task was to migrate a business-critical system across 20 tower sites statewide without disrupting service or compromising reliability.
Situation
Green Mountain partnered with NHEC to execute a forklift replacement of the microwave equipment, using a network strategy designed to keep Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), Land Mobile Radio (LMR), and enterprise data communications online with minimal interruption.
