Victor Drouin of Green Mountain Appointed Committee Member of Newly Launched Tower Family Foundation
September 11, 2014 – (Pembroke, NH) – Green Mountain, a premier integrated communication solutions provider, is pleased to announce that Victor Drouin, president of Green Mountain, has been appointed a committee member of the newly launched Tower Industry Family Support Charitable Foundation (Tower Family Foundation).
The Tower Family Foundation is a 501c-3 nonprofit foundation that has been established to help provide financial assistance to family members of a severely injured, permanently disabled, or deceased tower worker injured or killed in an accident stemming from working at heights on communication structures or other on-the-job related activities. The new foundation officially launched on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 during a reception and press conference at CTIA’s “Super Mobility Week” in Las Vegas, Nevada.
It was announced during the event that Clear Talk Wireless and Fletcher, Heald and Hildreth, LLP, a law firm, made a joint donation of $400,000 in order to help launch the foundation. Jim Tracy, president of the Tower Family Foundation, encouraged industry stakeholders to support and contribute to the foundation’s mission through a donation process that consists of the following levels of contribution: Platinum ($100,000+), Gold ($50,000 – $99,999), Silver ($25,000 – $49,999), Bronze ($15,000 – $24,999), Trailblazer ($10,000 – $14,999), and Pioneer ($5,000 – $9,999).
Companies and individuals that donate to the Tower Family Foundation will be designated and promoted as distinguished donors of the foundation. Additionally, any company or individual who makes a donation between September 10, 2014 and January 31, 2015 will be designated and promoted as a founding donor of the foundation.
Victor Drouin, and six other members of the advisory committee for the Tower Family Foundation, worked together over the last six months to develop the official criteria, guidelines, and application process for the distribution of donations to injured, disabled, or deceased tower workers and their families. The advisory committee will be responsible for the evaluation of all applications received on or after September 1, 2014.
Victor Drouin cofounded Green Mountain in 1993 and serves as the company’s president. He oversees all major business strategy decisions, develops and executes growth and development plans, and ensures that the company’s standards of quality are upheld. Drouin has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, particularly in designing wired/wireless communication solutions and management consultation. His passion for creating right-fit technology solutions for customers continues to set Green Mountain apart in the highly-competitive communications industry.
“It is an honor to serve on the advisory committee of the Tower Family Foundation,” states Victor Drouin, president of Green Mountain. “This foundation really seeks to make a difference in the lives of tower workers and their families that have been affected by an injury or accident on the job. It is our hope that the entire industry will support us in this worthy cause to better the lives of these important individuals.”
