Boston Logan International Airport

The work performed at the Boston Logan International Airport for a major wireless carrier included installing over 6,000 feet of 2-inch rigid conduit throughout the Central Parking Garage at Logan Airport to support the electrical and fiber needs for each of the six communication sectors. Due to the lengths of the sectors, Green Mountain had to install separate power and fiber to each sector in conduit and had to splice and terminate the fiber in the field as needed. We installed a total of 18 antennas and 12 radios in different locations spread across the garage to cover the airport. Our team worked closely with the parking garage operations team to secure work locations to complete the work. Special care was taken in the parking garage that was at full capacity during the telecom work.
